Valencia continues to reinforce its role as one of Europe’s leading centres for maritime innovation. As preparations advance for Navalia Meeting 2027, the city is bringing together institutions, industry leaders and technology companies with a shared ambition: creating a meeting point where engineering, business and innovation converge to address the challenges of tomorrow’s maritime industry.

As part of this process, Javier Arnau, Director of Navalia Exhibition, visited Caponnetto Hueber’s headquarters during a working session focused on the opportunities that Navalia Meeting 2027 will bring to Valencia and to the wider international maritime community.

During the visit, our engineering team presented several of the technologies currently under development across naval architecture, hydrodynamics, control systems and experimental validation. The meeting also provided an opportunity to exchange views on the major technological challenges facing the sector and the importance of creating environments where innovation can move efficiently from research into industrial application.

Building an innovation ecosystem

Navalia Meeting 2027 aims to become much more than a conventional industry conference. Conceived as a platform for dialogue between companies, institutions and knowledge centres, the event seeks to foster collaboration across the maritime ecosystem while promoting new business opportunities and technological partnerships.
